Music is My Boyfriend...and I Think I Want to Break Up

ugh. another late night and i can't sleep. it's the end of the year and my birthday is fast approaching...which means my "bah humbug" attitude landed about a week ago.  i always try to reflect on the year and look at the positive things i've accomplished...but lately it's been hard to ride the positivity train.  the state of the business, promises that were never kept, and the good people around me i've seen go through the ringer...all leave me a little disheartened and disillusioned at year's end.  i watched an amazing band perform this weekend and i wonder how many special people the world out there will never know.  at the end of the day maybe i am being a little dramatic. music is and will always be my first love, i couldn't break up if i wanted to.  but maybe we need to see other people lol.
